Three new charities partner with Run Fest
The Ahotu Silverstone Run Fest is delighted to welcome several charities on board, including Greenhouse Sports, The Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD), and OpenDoors. The collaboration with each of these charities aims to amplify the impact of the inaugural Run Fest by supporting meaningful causes and engaging the community in charitable efforts.
Each charity brings a unique mission and focus, expanding the Ahotu Silverstone Run Fest’s potential to foster positive social change through athleticism.
A more meaningful race day
Greenhouse Sports uses sport to engage young people and improve their life chances, while also offering school programmes through full-time coaches and mentors. The Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD) is part of one of the largest aid networks in the world, with a global reach and local presence that provides long-term aid to communities in need. Finally, OpenDoors serves persecuted Christians in over 70 different countries, providing emergency relief, delivering resources, and raising global awareness.
By partnering with these three charities, the Ahotu Silverstone Run Fest is set to become more than just a race, turning each step into a powerful act of giving back. The collaboration allows participants to engage with causes that resonate on both local and global scales, highlighting the values of compassion and solidarity on race day as well as personal achievement.
